Advocated for Maritime Industrial Services Co. Ltd. (MIS) in arbitration proceedings before the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) against a multinational oil and gas company. The claim, valued at USD 100 million, was resolved through a settlement agreement highly advantageous to the client.  

Represented MIS in arbitration proceedings before the DIFC/LCIA in a USD 117 million dispute with a multinational rig construction company. The case was resolved amicably, reflecting Mr. Matar’s expertise in dispute resolution.  

Instituted arbitration proceedings against two Qatari governmental petroleum companies concerning the execution of a lump-sum EPIC turnkey contract. The dispute, involving claims of USD 90 million, resulted in a settlement agreement favorable to the client.  

Successfully represented a regional media company in a litigation case against a governmental channel, securing favorable outcomes in a monetary dispute worth USD 10 million.
